Living Wage Week 2024 (4-10 November)

With 12.9% of people in work still being paid less than the real Living Wage,  recently set at £12.60 per hour (from 1 April next year), it has never been more important than it is now, as we battle against rising prices and the cost of living crisis, to campaign to get more employees the uplift they deserve.

We all agree that the real Living Wage is a key measure in the fight against poverty and this week gives everyone the opportunity to raise awareness of the benefits of paying the real Living Wage.  It benefits employers, employees and local communities in so many ways.
