Cheryl has joined the Community Planning Partnership Board as a representative of the Cambuslang and Rutherglen Community Partnership.  She holds a number of key local and national positions such as: Interim Chair of the National Parent Forum of Scotland; Vice Chair of the Health and Social Care Partnership in Rutherglen and Cambuslang; Chair of Whitcomm Co-operative Limited (tenant owned phone and broadband in West Whitlawburn). 

Cheryl is also a member of the South Lanarkshire Education Parents as Partners Forum; the Neighbourhood Planning Group in Springhall and Whitlawburn and is a coordinator for Cathkin Community Awards, Duke of Edinburgh Centre, Whitlawburn.
