South Lanarkshire Council signs Housing Professionalism Commitment
Published: Friday 28 June 2024

The council has signed up to the Chartered Institute of Housing Scotland’s, Housing Professional Commitment.
This commitment underlines the importance that we have always placed on developing our housing and homelessness teams to ensure they have the skills and knowledge they need to enable them to effectively carry out their roles and to develop professionally.
As part of delivering on this commitment, we will continue to provide funding and support to staff to access professional qualifications to support professional development.
Investing in staff ensures that our workforce is confident, effective and productive, which in turn results in better services and improved levels of satisfaction for our customers.
