There is still plenty of time to take part in a public consultation on the council’s Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategy.
The LHEES consultation, which runs until 12 April, sets out our long-term strategy for decarbonising heat in buildings and improving energy efficiency across South Lanarkshire. There is also an associated delivery plan which sets out how the strategy will be implemented over the next five years.
The first consultative draft is now available to review on the Sustainable South Lanarkshire website, alongside the questionnaire to seek everyone’s views on the proposed content.
Responses received from the consultation will be used to prepare a final strategy before it is submitted to the council for approval in June 2024.
