A series of road closures will take place in Larkhall on Saturday 12 August.
The closures are being put in place to allow the Provincial Grand Black Chapter of Scotland parade to take place.
From approximately 9am until 11am the B7078 between Canderside Toll and Middleton Avenue will be closed. The diversion route will be: A71 Ayr Road, B7019 Burnhead Road, Keir Hardie Road, and Machan Road. Access will be maintained to properties where possible but will be restricted.
Also closed from 9am, but not reopening until the later time of 2pm, will be Percy Street, between Victoria Street and Muir Street and on Muir Street, between Percy Street and Drygate Street. The diversions for this section of the parade will be: Low Pleasance, Miller Street, Drygate Street, Montgomery Street and Percy Street. Again, access will be maintained to properties where possible but will be restricted as the parade passes.
And from 8am until 3pm, a no parking and no waiting order will be in place along Academy Street from Muir Street to Glengowan Gardens (west side only).
