The hero next door is coming to South Lanarkshire
Published: Wednesday 5 July 2023

One of the best-known and loved characters from children’s TV will be in Lanark next weekend.
Pontypandy’s finest, Fireman Sam, and his team of Penny, Elvis, and Station Officer Steele are bringing their live show to Lanark Memorial Hall for two performances on Saturday 15 July.
Also joining the stage production is the town’s biggest troublemaker, and often fireraiser, Norman Price, as ever keeping Sam and the team on their toes.
In fact, this fantastic live show centres around Norman, who finds himself at a loose end when all of his friends are away. Looking for adventure he discovers that the circus has come to Pontypandy and tries to put himself centre stage.
But, with a tiger on the loose and faulty electrics, Norman’s adventure soon takes a turn and it’s over to Sam and the crew to try to save the day, and the circus itself.
Tickets, priced £16.50 (£15.50 concession) or £60 for a family of four, are red hot, and selling fast for both the noon and 3.30pm shows. So, if you and the wee ones are looking to experience the singing, dancing, action-packed life of the gang in Pontypandy, get your seats booked now.
