Local groups get funds from Hamilton Area Committee

Six local groups will benefit from the latest grants approved by the Hamilton Area Committee.
A total of £2,660 in funding was agreed when the committee met today.
The money will support a diverse range of local organisations and be put to good use in a variety of ways.
Members of the committee agreed the following grant awards:
- Larkhall Avondale Amateur Swimming - £600 for equipment
- 78th Lanarkshire (3rd Blantyre) Scout Group - £350 for entrance fees
- Hamilton Ramblers Club – £300 for an Outing
- Bothwell Futures – £760 for equipment, administration and publicity costs
- Blantyre Bonnie Tots - £300 for start-up costs - equipment
- 1st Larkhall Girls’ Brigade - £350 for an outing, administration and publicity costs
