Area Committee grants help groups across EK

The latest round of community grants from the East Kilbride Area Committee has been agreed by the council.
In total five groups were awarded more than £1,800 between them.
The following groups were all awarded Community Grants:
- East Kilbride Art Collective – £300 for materials, an outing, administration and publicity costs
- East Kilbride Flower Club - £300 for an outing
- Climate Action Strathaven – £600 for materials
- 20th East Kilbride Guides – £300 for an outing
- Duncanrig Rambling Club – £360 for an outing, administration and publicity costs
Community groups interested in applying for awards can do so on the council website.
