Books of condolence available across South Lanarkshire

Following the sad passing of Her Majesty The Queen, arrangements have been made to help local people pay their respects.
South Lanarkshire Council and South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture have placed books of condolence at the following locations:
Cambuslang
SLC Offices, Cambuslang Gate, 27 Main Street, Cambuslang, G72 7EX
Friday 9 September: Open until 3.45pm
Saturday 10 September: 8.45am to 4pm
Sunday 11 September: 8.45am to 4pm
Monday to Friday: 9.45am to 3.45pm
Carluke

Members of the public are welcome to attend any of these locations and add their signatures. The books are available now and staff will be on hand to direct people to them.
Anyone who cannot go to one of these locations may want to sign the official online condolence book on the Royal website.
Residents who wish to place floral tributes can do so in the open space at the flagpoles in front of the council’s HQ Almada Street, Hamilton, ML3 0AA. Anyone who cannot use that space may want to consider somewhere appropriate nearby, such as their local war memorial.
