Music festival to take over Chatelherault
Published: Friday 29 April 2022

It will be a great day for music fans at Chatelherault this Saturday.
The Stereofunk music festival will be taking place in the Hamilton country park for the first time on Saturday 30 April.
The one day event, which will feature a huge line up of dance music acts including Vengaboys, is taking over Chatelherault.
The park will be closed to all vehicle traffic throughout the day.
The Visitor Centre including the Oaks' Café, the Gift Shop and all toilet facilities will be closed to the public.
In addition, pedestrian access to some areas including the playpark will be restricted.
For anyone visiting the area, including those attending Stereofunk, it is worth noting that a traffic restriction order will be enforced on Carlisle Road from Barncluith Roundabout to Larkhall prohibiting traffic from stopping or parking anywhere on this section of road.
All residential areas in Ferniegair and Barncluith will be subject to this order also.
Police and their contractors will enforce this order and illegally parked vehicles will be removed.
For festival goers there are full details of the travel and parking options on the Stereofunk website.
We hope everyone attending Stereofunk has a fantastic day and for everyone else we would encourage them to enjoy one of South Lanarkshire’s many other parks this Saturday. Normal service will be resumed at Chatelherault on Sunday.
