Online networking event to connect local businesses
Published: Wednesday 23 March 2022
Local businesses across South Lanarkshire are being invited to come together online for E3’s first networking event this week.
The free virtual event will take place on Friday 25 March from 10.00am to 11.30am and aims to connect local people from across the region, whether they already have their own business, would like to start up a business or even if they have a great business idea.
The E3 project (Elevator Entrepreneurial Ecosystem) is delivered by social enterprise Elevator UK and supported by South Lanarkshire Council thanks to the UK Community Renewal Fund (CRF), which aims to support people and communities across the UK.
Hosted by South Lanarkshire E3 Project Manager, Sam Easton, the 1.5 hour event will facilitate icebreakers and networking activities as well as providing a general introduction to the E3 project, including details on what support is available and how you can take advantage of it.
South Lanarkshire Council’s Head of Planning and Economic Development, Pauline Elliott, said: “This event will have a great deal of information which will be useful to those who have their own business or are looking to start one. I hope as many people as possible take advantage of the offer.”
There will also be a group noticeboard for sharing contact details and information about your business to other attendees.
E3 offer a range of business support services free of charge as part of a project funded by the UK Community Renewal Fund. There will be a particular focus on one-to-one mentoring, digital upskilling and social media training, as well as a series of initiatives including monetary grants for 18 –30 year olds, digital innovation masterclasses, social media vouchers and an accredited carbon literacy training programme.
Book your space on this free and exciting event at the E3 hub website.
