New general manager for Trust

A new general manager of South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture has been appointed after a rigorous recruitment process.
Kay Morrison will take up her new post on Monday 21 March at the trust, which is contracted to deliver leisure and cultural activities on behalf of South Lanarkshire Council.
Kay was previously Strategy & Business Development Manager at South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture (SLLC).
SLLC Board member David Booth, who is Executive Director of Community & Enterprise Resources, said: “Congratulations to Kay, there was a strong field of candidates for this position, and I am delighted to say she was the best of that impressive group. I look forward to working with her in her new position.”
Kay said: “I am truly honoured to be asked to take over this role. The leisure and culture team do a fantastic job in providing a wide-range of cultural and leisure services for the people of South Lanarkshire and I can’t wait to get started.”
