Sunshine on Leith EROS
Eros Musical Society presents Sunshine on Leith, by Stephen Greenhorn.
A jubilant, heartfelt musical about the power of home, the hearth, family and love. Featuring songs by The Proclaimers, including ‘I’m on my Way’, ‘Oh Jean’, ‘Sunshine on Leith’, ‘Letter from America’ and ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 miles)’.
Sunshine On Leith follows the highs and lows of Ally and his friend Davy as they search for normality after returning from a tour in Afghanistan.
Families, friendships and life are not all plain sailing in this funny and moving story about love and life.
A vibrant, energetic piece of musical theatre, loved by audiences and critics alike which has a successful film adaptation released in 2013 starring Jane Horrocks.
EROS are delighted to be bringing Sunshine on Leith to The East Kilbride Village Theatre.
