Courses and classes
We offer a vast range of courses for children, young people and adults from ceramics to musical instrument tuition.
The Arts Development Section aims to make arts more accessible to the local community.
We provide courses, projects, workshops and master classes as well as one-off activities and events. This includes theme days, summer schools, concerts and annual festivals such as 'Young at Heart'.
Our programme of arts classes is designed to accommodate all needs, ages and abilities. Courses mostly run in four terms, commencing August, October, January and April. However at East Kilbride Arts Centre course terms commence in August, January and April.
The Arts Development Team regularly work with national arts companies to provide outreach programmes. These support the events and performances within the venues.

We work with local organisations and groups on community-based projects. We provide advice and support with training, preparing constitutions, accessing funding and developing projects.
