4. Policies
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture has a number of policies in place, including the following:
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture's Equality and Diversity Policy outlines the SCIO's approach to ensure fair and equal access to both employment and service opportunities. It focuses on the nine protected characteristics of age, disability, gender, religion or belief, race, gender reassignment, pregnancy and maternity, sexual orientation, and marriage and civil partnership.
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture's Child Protection Policy policy supports staff in putting into practice South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture’s commitment to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people under the age of 18.
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture's Health and Safety Policy provides a general vision and arrangements in relation to health and safety for South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture. It sets out our general approach, objectives and the arrangements that have been put in place for managing health and safety.
