Whitehill Neighbourhood Centre was opened in August 2005. It is a large community facility that is situated on Hunter Road, Whitehill, Hamilton.
It comprises a main hall, a large kitchen and bar area, hub area; fitness/dance studio, two health rooms, a boardroom and two meeting rooms, split over two levels. Please note that the first floor is not suitable for patrons with mobility issues.
The main hall is a large space that can be booked as an entire space or half the space, making use of the partition walls. It is ideal for children’s parties and, dependent on equipment used, it can accommodate around 100 guests. It is also suitable for large meetings and conferences, with various set ups available to accommodate the hirer’s needs.
This centre can be used for a variety of community, social and commercial activities, including dance classes; fitness classes; sports activities; community meetings etc.
The car park accommodates 38 vehicles and is free to use.
Full consideration has been given to access and use by the disabled. There are three designated parking bays at the front of the building. Assistance dogs are welcome.
