Ballerup Hall is located within East Kilbride Civic Centre and takes its name from its twin town Ballerup, which is near Copenhagen in Denmark. The hall comprises a main hall with stage, kitchen facilities and a bar servery. The adjoining district court room is available after office hours for a limited range of activities.
The main hall is 294sqm and can accommodate up to 300 people in concert style and up to 210 for a catered function. Where no dance floor is required, up to 250 people can be accommodated for a catered function. This hall is in excellent decorative condition making it a good hall for a special function or concert. It is equipped with sound and lighting.
There is a large kitchen suitable for caterers to provide meals or for customers to provide their own teas and coffees.

This facility can be used for a variety of community, social and commercial activities including but not restricted to Courses and Classes, Arts and Crafts, Sports Activities, Community Meetings, Birthday Parties, Engagement Parties, Discos, Wedding Receptions, Slimming Clubs, Martial Arts etc.
Car parking at front of hall includes three disabled spaces. The entrance is level. There is a chair lift for disabled users internally to the court and main hall. Fire escape ramped, unisex toilet for disabled users is available. Assistance dogs are welcome.
