Biggar Municipal Hall

Biggar Municipal Hall is situated at the junction of the A702 and the B7016 (Carnwath Road). It is adjacent to Biggar Museum and the local park. The hall is currently used by community groups as well as local functions and events.  The accommodation comprises a main hall with stage, two dressing rooms at the rear of the stage, small meeting room on the upper level, kitchen and toilet facilities.

The main hall is 250sqm in area and can accommodate up to 250 people seated in concert style and up to 181 for a catered function.

The meeting room is 30sqm in area and can accommodate up to 25 people.

The kitchen is suitable for functions and can be used by customers to provide their own teas and coffees.

This facility can be used for a variety of community, social and commercial activities including courses and classes, arts and crafts, sports activities, community meetings, birthday parties, engagement parties, discos, wedding receptions, slimming clubs, martial arts etc.

Car Parking is at the front of the hall.  Access is by the side entrance. Some assistance may be required for disabled users using this facility. Assistance dogs are welcome.
