Using your library
South Lanarkshire libraries are open to anyone who lives, works, or studies in South Lanarkshire, or neighbouring authorities. You can visit any of our libraries to borrow books, use a PC, logon to free wi-fi or use the printing and copying facilities, and much more.
You can also discover the history and heritage of your local area or research your family tree and discover your own hidden roots. For expert advice contact the Information Services Team, located in each of the four main libraries: East Kilbride, Hamilton, Rutherglen and Lanark.
