Sports hall
The Willie Waddell Sports and Community Centre has a large sports hall (approximately 16 metres by 24 metres). The markings in our hall cater for three badminton courts, basketball, five-a-side football, netball and volleyball. Our sports hall is also used for fitness classes and clubs such as gymnastics, table tennis and trampolining.
The lighting system in our sports hall and its catering facilities make it an ideal venue for functions such as dance shows, presentations, displays and parties.
We also have a community hall in the centre which has two dividing walls that can be used to separate as and when required.
The hall is suitable for events such as club meetings, dance or band practices, arts and crafts classes and presentations. The hall holds a maximum of 20 attendees and costs £3.40 per hour per third of the hall.

The function hall can be set up as a seated event for a maximum of 450 people. For parties, tables and chairs are laid out
to suit each individual event for a maximum of 250 guests.
