At Calderglen Zoo we offer two types of experiences to get to know some of our resident animals a little better!

Meet The Meerkats

Duration: 15-20 minutes
Times: Monday to Sunday at 3:00pm (subject to availability)
Cost: £25 1 person / £45 2 people
Group size: Maximum 2 people
Age range: 6 years and over
Location: Indoors

Meet The Skunk

Little Zookeepers

Duration: 1.5 hours
Times: 9:00am-10:30am (offered most days subject to staff availability)
Cost: £80 1 person / £150 2 people
Group size: Maximum 2 people
Age range: 6 years and over
Location: Outdoors

Shadow one of our keepers doing the ‘breakfast rounds’ and gain an understanding of what it takes to really look after Calderglen’s animals! The specific species involved, and detailed itinerary, will vary depending on factors like weather and confidence levels of participant.
