Our live musicians, The MacDonald Brothers perform the biggest hits from The Proclaimers to Deacon Blue and from Runrig to The Bay City Rollers plus a whole lot more!

This show celebrates everything wonderful about Scotland and has been described as a Scottish Music Extravaganza - so get your tartan scarves at the ready!

Joining the brothers on stage will be an amazing supporting cast of dancers, bagpipes and special guests ensuring an unforgettable evening of Scottish variety.

This show truly highlights the brothers' multi-instrumental talent, including accordion, fiddle, piano, guitars and Irish whistles as well as their unique vocal harmonies, which has seen them compared to ‘The Scottish Everly Brothers’. 

Following the 2024 sell-out show ‘The Ayrshire Lads’ this new MacDonald Brothers production is truly going to be a night to remember.

The MacDonald Brothers finished 4th in the X Factor. Their career highlights include multiple tours of the UK’s largest arenas supporting Irish Superstars – Westlife and hitting No.1 in the Scottish charts with their debut album. Thereafter they’ve achieved two further top ten albums in Scotland, and even had a song given to them by Sir Elton John to record and feature on their album.

After spending the majority of the last decade performing overseas, The MacDonald Brothers are well and truly back home with this exciting new tour of Scotland.

Exhibition: The Dutch Don’t Forget – The Cameronians in the British Liberation Army

 

Standing outside the entrance to Low Parks Museum is a simple, bronze memorial plaque on a polished granite plinth that bears the words “The Dutch Don’t Forget”. The plaque was presented to veterans of the 52nd (Lowland) Division, a Scottish, Territorial Army formation that played a vital part in the liberation of the Netherlands in the final stages of the Second World War. The message is simple, the Dutch will never forget the sacrifices made by the men of the 52nd (Lowland) Division in freeing them from Nazi oppression.

Two battalions of The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) proudly fought in the Dutch campaign in the Second World War. The 6th Battalion, historically covering the county of Lanarkshire, and the 7th Battalion, drawn mainly from the south side of the city of Glasgow.

This commemorative exhibition highlights the part played by these two battalions, as part of the 52nd (Lowland) Division, in this pivotal stage of the Second World War.
