How to use
As of 1 April 2014 you can access your rail travel discount directly via your National Entitlement Card.
Just show your National Entitlement Card when purchasing your rail ticket to receive the discount:
- One third off most rail fares
- 50% off all weekly or monthly tickets
- One third off most advance purchases
As with the bus concession, there are some restrictions as to when/where you can gain your travel discount. Please see Transport Scotland for further information regarding the restrictions.
If you have lost/damaged your National Entitlement Card and require a replacement card please see the Request replacement page.
Please bear in mind this discount is only available between the ages of 16-18, once you turn 19 you will no longer receive this discount.
