Local Development Plan 3 (LDP3)
Open Space Strategy and Play Sufficiency Assessment
The preparation of our LDP3 includes a requirement to look at whether open space and play provision within the area are sufficient to meet the needs of our local communities.
An Open Space Strategy is being prepared which involves assessing the current quality, quantity and accessibility of our open space areas and setting out our direction on the future management and maintenance of its open spaces.
As part of LDP3 we also have to complete a play sufficiency assessment.
We want to know your thoughts on the current provision of the play areas and open spaces you use, what you like about these spaces and how they could be made better. There are separate surveys for children to complete and their parents and guardians. The closing date is Tuesday 24 December 2024.
