Oracle Fusion

Oracle Fusion goes live to employees and managers on 27 August for HR and payroll. This means that you will be able to undertake a range of actions like requesting annual leave, claiming expenses or overtime, and submitting other requests to your manager for approval such as flexible working, career break, maternity and adoption leave requests.

A series of MS Teams overview sessions will be available throughout September to help employees and managers learn about the new system. The drop-ins will include demonstrations of key tasks and allow you to ask questions. Find out more and register to attend by completing this form.

Oracle Learning 

You can find the Learning tile on the Oracle Fusion home screen and this is where you:

• Access eLearning courses
• Request to attend a training course
• Receive joining instructions for instructor led training
• Access your training records

(Please note: training that took place from 1 July 2024 is currently being entered into Fusion.  If you cannot see training you completed from this date it will be updated soon).

Quick Reference Guides

Quick Reference Guides (QRG) are available to access via the Oracle Fusion learning tile under the me tab.

To help decide what guides to access, you can view the employee QRG summary and the line manager QRG summary. The guides that are marked as top tasks cover the topics of most use to employees and managers, therefore you may want to access these ones first.

A range of short drop-in training sessions have also been arranged for specific employee groups.

Navigating the system

To help you find your way around the Oracle Fusion, you may find the navigation guides below useful. These handouts are designed to help you navigate to different parts of the system and screens to perform transactions or view information.

Fusion system guides

If you see the following icon while you navigate around Fusion, it means there is a guide available.

When you select the icon, the guide will open to take you through that process.

You can access all guides and system demos now from the Oracle Fusion Learning Category, in the Learning module of Fusion.

This link will take you to the training material, however you can navigate there by:

• Logging into Fusion:
• From the Me Tab on the Home screen select the Learning App
• select the Browse icon at the bottom of the screen to view the elearning catalogue
• scroll down and select View All next to the Oracle Fusion category
• Join the Learning Community for the area you want to learn about, and then View All to display all of the guides
• Select the guide or demo you are interested in and enrol to open the material. Demos will open automatically but you need to select See Document to open up the Guides.
