If you run a business in South Lanarkshire, you are responsible for disposing of your waste safely. We do not collect business waste, but you have several options for disposal.

How to dispose of commercial waste

You can:

• arrange a regular collection with a private waste company
• take your waste to a licensed disposal site

Using tipping vouchers

If you want to use the Carluke household waste and recycling centre, you must buy tipping vouchers before you visit. Buy your vouchers online and show your receipt when you arrive at the site.

Charges (based on weight)

• category 1 – up to 0.5 tonne: £107.46 (inc VAT)
• category 2 – up to 1 tonne: £214.89 (inc VAT)

You can combine vouchers if your load is heavier.
