East Kilbride and Strathaven Constituency - Joani Reid MP (Labour)
Hamilton and Clyde Valley Constituency - Imogen Walker MP (Labour)
Rutherglen Constituency - Michael Shanks MP (Labour)
The UK Parliament:
Based at Westminster in London, it deals with a number of powers that have not been devolved to the Scottish Parliament.
These include the constitution, foreign policy, immigration and nationality, social security, defence and national security, fiscal and economic affairs, trade and industry, nuclear energy, oil, coal, gas and electricity, employment and some aspects of transport including road and rail safety.

Part of the area of South Lanarkshire falls within two other constituencies:
- Clydesdale, Dumfriesshire and Tweeddale - David Mundell MP (Conservative)
- Motherwell, Wishaw and Carluke - Pamela Nash MP (Labour)
Some areas of South Lanarkshire are in constituencies which are not administered by this council.
The towns of Carluke, Law, Braidwood and Forth are under the constituency of Motherwell, Wishaw and Carluke which is administered by North Lanarkshire Council.
The majority of the towns and villages within the Clydesdale area are under the constituency of Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale which is administered by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
