What local businesses can do

Businesses that support a cleaner South Lanarkshire will help to attract investment, making it an attractive place to live, work and visit. We can help you organise clean-up days or other environmental projects and provide advice on how to make your business more environmentally friendly and socially acceptable. 

We provide the following services to businesses (some chargeable):

  • graffiti removal with priority to racist or other offensive graffiti
  • street cleansing service including the removal of litter and fly tipping
  • Enforcement Officers who can issue fixed penalty notices and investigate environmental crime for your business
  • advice and support to help you comply with the law
  • help to adopt a public space that you could improve
  • help to support a local project
