Secondary school road safety

Crash Magnets, developed by Road Safety Scotland, is an information pack which is available to all pupils in S4 to S5 in South Lanarkshire.

It contains a DVD with five programmes. These cover driver distraction, speed, cruise culture, the role of the emergency services at traffic accidents and drink/drug driving.

Crash Magnets is delivered to pupils in Personal and Social Education classes. It includes situation cards and case studies to help generate discussion and debate.
