National Entitlement Card
The Scottish Government, Young Scot, local councils and other organisations have worked together to offer citizens across Scotland the National Entitlement Card, a nationally recognised electronic smart card, which makes it easier to access their services.
Currently, the National Entitlement Card is targeted at the groups below:
- young people - aged 11 - 25 can receive discounts at shops, cinemas, restaurants and money off on public transport between the ages of 16-19
- older people - aged 60 and over can receive discounts on public transport
- disabled people - also receive discounts on public transport
