Traffic regulation orders
Putting a TRO in place
Before a TRO can be put in place a full legal process has to be carried out that can take anything from six months to two years.
We put a public notice in the local papers and on the current list of new TROs when a new TRO is proposed.
Notices are also attached to lampposts and signposts in the area the TRO covers. These give a brief outline of the proposals and where you can see the details.
