Diamond weddings

When a couple is celebrating their Diamond (60th) Wedding anniversary, our Provost is happy to visit them with flowers and a scroll to mark the special occasion.

Many people reaching this landmark are already in contact with social work staff.

About six weeks before the event, their home care organiser or residential home officer will have a chat about their plans for the day and will help to arrange a celebration.

If people would prefer their celebrations to be private, that wish will of course be respected.

If you are not in touch with Social Work Resources you should contact the Provost's Office to make the necessary arrangements for the Provost to mark the occasion.

These arrangements are in addition to cards sent by the King to mark Diamond (60th), 65th and Platinum (70th) anniversaries.
