Meals at home

We can arrange with Apetito to deliver frozen, ready‑to‑heat meals straight to your door every two weeks. This service helps you stay independent at home and ensures you have a tasty, nutritious two‑course meal every day. You can choose meals that suit your tastes, and there are options for many dietary, cultural and religious needs.

What you can get

You can pick a two‑course meal made up of either:

• soup and a main course
• a main course and a dessert

A menu brochure will be left with you so you can choose the meals you like. There is a wide range of soups, main dishes and desserts prepared by Apetito.

There is a cost for this service.

How meal delivery works

The meals are delivered to your home every two weeks. You can keep them in your freezer and heat each meal when you need it. This gives you flexibility and makes it easier to plan your meals for the week.

How to request meals at home

You can ask about getting meals at home as part of a social work assessment.
To request an assessment, contact your local social work office. We can talk with you about your needs and whether meals at home would help you live safely and comfortably.
