Care and Repair in Lanarkshire

Care and Repair offer free help with small household repairs and safety advice for residents across North and South Lanarkshire if you are aged 60 or over, or you have a disability or long-term health condition.

The team can support you with everyday maintenance tasks, fitting simple equipment and checking your home for safety issues. They also provide guidance on fire detection equipment.

There is a dedicated project for people living with dementia and their carers. The team can visit your home, suggest practical changes and install helpful equipment. You can refer yourself or a Health and Social Care worker can refer you.
