Commenting on a planning application
View and comment/object
When an application has been validated and the status is set as registered, you can submit comments by the deadline date shown. You must make your comments within three weeks of the application being submitted or within four weeks if the application is subject to Environmental Impact Assessment. If you wish to make comments after this time period and the application has not yet been decided, please contact the case officer to see if comments can still be made. Remember your comments are made public. We will not publish any comments which we consider to be defamatory or offensive and they will not be taken into consideration when determining the application.
Use the planning application portal (Public Access) to find a planning application, where you can make a comment. For guidance on how to use Public Access, please see our Public Access Guide.
You can also complete our Customer service enquiry form detailing your comments.
