Objecting to a licence application
Anyone can object to licence applications, for example, taxis, public entertainment, late hours catering by writing to the Licensing office within 28 days of the publish date on the premises notice.
If you are making an objection it is your responsibility to make sure the Licensing office has received it.
The Licensing office is responsible for providing copies of objections to applicants. It should also take any objections into consideration when making a decision on any application.
On receipt of objections, the Licensing office will invite the Licence holder and the objector to attend a hearing.
