Objecting to a liquor licence application

Anyone can object to an application for a premises licence or a provisional premises licence by writing to the Licensing Board within 21 days of the publish date.   

Your objections should be based on any of the following:

  • preventing crime and disorder
  • securing public safety
  • preventing public nuisance
  • protecting and improving public health
  • protecting children from harm

Anyone can:

  • support the application
  • request that modifications are made to the operation plan
  • request that conditions are imposed if the application is granted
