Crematorium

The Christmas Memorial Service at South Lanarkshire Crematorium is being held this year on Sunday 1 December 2024 at 2pm.

Whether your loved one has been buried or cremated, the Christmas Memorial Service offers a way to make remembrance special at this time and all are welcome to join together for the service taken this year by Father Dominic Quinn of St Leonards Church, East Kilbride and Rev Ross Blackman of Hamilton Old Parish.

The act of Remembrance for those we mourn, by lighting a candle, adding your own personal message to a memorial tag to be hung on the Christmas tree, or just coming together with others for a moment of quiet reflection, may bring great comfort at what for many is a difficult time of year. 

We extend a warm and welcoming invitation to everyone to come along to the memorial service. The service will be followed by light refreshments and a time to reflect together.
