Naming ceremonies
Naming ceremonies for babies and children
A naming ceremony is a civil ceremony that welcomes a child formally into its family and community. Just as couples take their wedding vows, promises are made to the child that can be witnessed by all their family and friends.
Naming ceremonies can be held within one of our beautifully decorated ceremony rooms or you can choose another venue, for example, a hotel. If your chosen venue is not licensed for public entertainment or to sell alcohol a risk assessment will require to be carried out. There is a fee for this.
Arranging your ceremony
