Public processions, marches and demonstrations
Notifications of public processions
The following are exempt from the 28 days' notice:
- funeral processions organised by a funeral director
- processions shown in Orders made by Ministers of the Scottish Government
We can only waive the 28 day notification requirement in exceptional circumstances, for example if you want to arrange a march in reaction to a recent decision or announcement such as a factory closure.
