Council Housing Allocation Policy

Local Letting Plans are available for eight areas of South Lanarkshire:

• Blantyre
• Cambuslang
• Clydesdale North
• Clydesdale South
• East Kilbride
• Hamilton
• Larkhall 
• Rutherglen

They give details of:

• supply and demand for housing in each area
• local letting targets for the percentage of council properties allocated to each of the four housing needs lists
• local letting initiatives which allow the Council to tackle issues such as high demand for different property types, high levels of need and estate management issues
