Clyde and Avon Valley Landscape Partnership
This partnership will deliver physical and cultural projects over a five year period.
It aims to reinforce distinctive features of the landscape that create character through:
- strengthening the connection between community and landscape by providing a range of volunteering and learning opportunities
- developing heritage skills and strengthening land management practices
- raising awareness of the area's history, culture and importance as a source of food for Glasgow and the surrounding area
- reducing the adverse visual effects of recent development and introducing new elements that reinforce the landscape character
We are the lead partner already contributing £100,000 in the (development) year, 2011. We will also fund £400,000 towards the four delivery years to 2016.
