Matchmaker seller registration

We will use the information that you have provided to allow us to process your Matchmaker to Sell registration form.

You must provide us with personal data for these purposes as failure to do so will mean that we cannot process your registration form to join the Property Matchmaker Scheme.

We maintain data protection controls in line with the General Data Protection Regulation and other data protection legislation to ensure the effective and secure processing of your information. The information will be held securely and will be treated as confidential except where the law requires it to be disclosed.

We may check information provided by you or information about you provided by a third party, with other information held by us. We may also get information from certain third parties or share your information with them to check its accuracy, prevent or detect crime, protect public funds or where required law.

Information sharing

We will only ever share your information where it is necessary for the managing of our Property Matchmaker Scheme.

The information that you provide within this registration form will be held on a matchmaking database controlled and operated by our Development and Private Sector team.

‘Sellers’ who register with this service should be aware that the property details they have included will be distributed to all appropriate registered buyers. If a ‘Buyer’ declares an interest in a property then the ‘Sellers’ personal information will be shared with the ‘Buyer’ to generate a communication link. The following personal information will be shared: contact name; contact phone number; contact email address.

‘Buyers’ should be aware that if they choose to declare an interest in any property then personal information will be shared with the appropriate ‘Seller’ to generate a communication link. The following personal information will be shared: contact name; contact phone number; contact email address.

How long we keep your information

Your information will be retained by us for the duration of your registration and 1 year thereafter. If you no longer wish to participate in this scheme you can contact our Development and Private Sector team at any point and ask that your details be removed. Your rights

You have the right to ask us to:

tell you that we are using personal information about you, tell you what that information is, and who we have shared it with. You can also ask us for a copy of the information we have about you. This is called the right of access.
correct any wrong or misleading personal information that we have about you. This is called the right to rectification.
stop using any or all of your personal information. This is called the right to object.
delete or destroy your personal information under certain circumstances. This is called the right to erasure.
stop using your personal information until we can correct your personal information, give you our reasons for using your personal information or stop us deleting your personal data if you need it in connection with any legal claims. This is called the right of restriction.
pass your personal information to someone else under certain circumstances. This is called the right to data portability.
