Housing and Technical Resources

Property Services has many responsibilities including working with all the Council's Resources to develop, design, procure and, where appropriate, deliver property construction programmes and maintenance works, including the out-of hours repairs service. This includes linking in to the Council’s Sustainability Strategy in terms of energy efficiencies.

It also manages the CCTV monitoring for the Council and provides the Estates Service which is responsible for the management of the lease portfolio and for the delivery of the capital receipts programme. It also undertakes corporate property information development and publication, and the provision of a professional valuation service.
