Renewable Energy Fund Grants
Renewable Energy Fund value available by community
The following list of villages indicates the value of the Renewable Energy Fund and Clyde Wind Farm funding available to different communities. If your community isn’t listed, please email FundingAndDevelopment@southlanarkshire.gov.uk for more information.
The amount of funding available changes frequently depending on grants awarded and the timing of income from wind farms. The list indicates the scale of funding that may be available and managed by us at any set time.
The wind farm funds are not ringfenced to individual villages but by boundaries unique to each wind farm. As such, money available to one village such as Abington could also be available to Crawford and vice versa. SSE Clyde Wind Farm budgets are equally available to each eligible community. Please see Renewable Energy Fund wind farms and maps for more details.
This list is not cumulative but indicates the funds available to each community. The list was updated in August 2024.
