Notice of asset transfer request - Tileworks park and pavilion, Stonehouse

Ref CAT/24/0018

A previous asset transfer request reference CAT/24/0018 relating to a request to purchase Tileworks Park and Pavilion, Union Street, Stonehouse, ML9 3LF by Albert FC Ltd has been withdrawn, and a new request has been made by the same organisation to lease the property.

The proposed use of the land is for the operation of a community football hub.

The documents relating to this request can be viewed by emailing CommunityAssets@southlanarkshire.gov.uk, or viewed online on our planning portal. Choose Simple Search, and use the word “asset transfer” or reference number “CAT/24/0018” in the keyword search box.

Anyone may make representations about this request to South Lanarkshire Council. Representations must be in writing and include the name and address of the person making it. A copy of the representation will be given to the organisation making the request.

Representations must be made by 5pm on Thursday 9 January 2025. They should be made via the planning system, or sent to Iain Mulholland, Community Engagement Team, Finance and Corporate Resources, Council HQ, Almada St, Hamilton, ML3 0AA or by email to CommunityAssets@southlanarkshire.gov.uk.
