Seniors Together

Hosted by Seniors Together in South Lanarkshire, the Older Peoples Assembly takes place four times each year and is chaired by the council’s Older Peoples Champion. The event is open to older people representatives of groups and organisations across the local authority area as well as individual older people.

Seniors Together aim to deliver an event in each of the four main localities of South Lanarkshire.

Delegates attend to hear from speakers on current topics of relevance to the older population. Chief officers, working in the statutory and voluntary sector, who are designing and delivering services for older people, also provide information updates from their areas of expertise. Participants can share their views and provide comments and feedback on the presentations received.
