Countryside rangers
The Countryside Rangers do many things to raise the profile of our open spaces and to improve the area's biodiversity and outdoor access networks.
They:
- organise countryside events and activities to help communities develop projects to improve their local environment
- work with schools and groups
- tell visitors about our natural and cultural heritage
- give advice on planning and outdoor access issues
