Home fire safety visits

Scottish Fire and Rescue runs campaigns to help reduce the number of accidental house fires and casualties.

These include:

• provision and maintenance of smoke alarms
• advice on making a fire action plan
• cooking safety advice including oil/fat pan fryers
• fire and fireworks safety

The council produces a community safety strategy and plan for safe communities along with Scottish Fire and Rescue.
