Fair trading covers a wide range of laws. They try to make sure both consumers and producers are treated openly and fairly.

Fair trading law aims to make sure that the goods and services you buy are accurately described, fit for their purpose, safe and priced correctly and clearly. It also makes businesses use trading terms and conditions which are fair to all.
